City of Conroe - Appliance Repairs

Background
The City of Conroe is seeking quotes for appliance repairs at various city-owned locations.
The goal of this project is to create an efficient, user-friendly platform for obtaining appliance repair quotes, allowing users to compare costs from local technicians and service providers.
This system will also serve as a management tool for service providers to manage customer requests effectively.

Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive repair services for various household and commercial appliances, ensuring each appliance is restored to optimal working condition.
Specific services include:
1. Service Call Fee
2. Diagnostic Test Fee
3. Hourly Labor Rate (Standard Work Hours)
4. After-Hour Fees
5. Holiday Call Fee
6. Preventative Maintenance Fee
7. Removal/Disposal of Old Appliance Fee
8. Appliance Installation & Set Up Fee
9. Percentage of Parts Mark-up
10. Travel Fee if Contractor travels to pick up a part more than 30 miles from Conroe City Limits.

Standard work hours are Monday 6:00 am – Friday 6:59 pm, with after-hours defined as Friday at 7:00 pm to Monday at 5:59 am.

Period of Performance
The contract term shall be for one (1) year with the possibility of three (3) consecutive one-year renewals if agreeable by both parties.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various City-owned locations in Conroe, Texas, including but not limited to Fire Stations, Police Department, Animal Shelter, and Community Centers.
