Background
Tarleton State University, an institution of higher education primarily located in Stephenville, TX, is soliciting bids for charter bus transportation services for all its campuses. The goal of this contract is to establish a pool of vendors who can provide these services on an as-needed basis, with no minimum usage guaranteed.
Work Details
The contractor will provide charter bus services including:
- Day rates for 36 passenger and 57 passenger buses.
- Charges for deadhead miles and live miles for both bus sizes.
- Driver change services during routes.
- Additional mileage charges beyond 50 miles per day.
- A flat-rate cancellation fee.
Buses must be equipped with TV monitors, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, heating, restroom facilities, and ample space for passengers and baggage. Drivers must be licensed in Texas and maintain a clean driving record.
Period of Performance
The contract will have a term of 5 years beginning on October 3, 2024.
