Catalog/Discount Vendors

Background
The Irving Independent School District (IISD) is seeking proposals from highly qualified vendors for the 'as needed' purchase of catalog/discount vendors. This initiative aims to establish a pool of vendors who can provide various products that are not available through existing contracts, thereby enhancing the district's procurement capabilities. The solicitation is issued under the guidelines of Education Code 44.031.

Work Details
Vendors are expected to provide a range of products on an 'as needed' basis. Specific details regarding the products and services required are outlined in an attachment provided with the solicitation. Vendors must offer a percentage discount on their products, parts, and materials as specified in the Line Item Tab. The district guarantees no minimum dollar amount in purchase orders against this contract. Multiple awards are anticipated to allow departments to select vendors based on price, availability, and delivery.

Period of Performance
The term of the award will be one (1) year from the date of award, with an option for the district to renew for four (4) additional 12-month periods. This allows for a maximum contract duration of five (5) years.

Place of Performance
The services and products will be delivered to various locations within the Irving Independent School District, specifically at 2621 W Airport Fwy, Irving, TX 75062.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must comply with all applicable laws and district policies affecting the services covered by this agreement. They must provide required forms such as EDGAR Federal Forms and W-9 upon submission. Additionally, vendors must conduct criminal history checks on employees who will have contact with students as per SB 9 regulations.
