The agency is committed to enhancing community welfare by providing economic opportunities and training for low-income individuals. This contract aims to procure carpet cleaning and water extraction services to maintain the aesthetics and integrity of its properties.

Work Details
The contractor will provide labor, materials, and equipment necessary for carpet cleaning and water extraction services across various Opportunity Home properties. These services are essential for preserving the assets and enhancing the aesthetics of these facilities.

Contractors must comply with federal mandates to recruit low-income individuals for new positions and provide training opportunities as feasible. Additionally, contractors are required to submit a Section 3 plan detailing their efforts to hire Section 3 residents, with a goal of 30% hiring from this demographic.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to be completed within two days of mobilization unless otherwise agreed upon by property management.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various Opportunity Home properties located in San Antonio, Texas.
