Description

The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) is seeking to contract with a qualified vendor to provide career exploration assessment services including an assessment and individual career exploration reports. The assessment must identify careers, strengths, stress behaviors, motivational needs, and an ideal work environment for Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) customers. The assessment must be applicable but not limited to customers with autism, attention-deficit/ hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), intellectual developmental delays, and learning disabilities.

Background
The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) is seeking to contract with a qualified vendor to provide career exploration assessment services. The goal of this contract is to assist Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) customers, particularly those with autism, ADHD, intellectual developmental delays, and learning disabilities. This assistance will involve identifying their careers, strengths, stress behaviors, motivational needs, and ideal work environments. Individual career exploration reports must be easy to read and interpret, providing practical and personalized information for each VR customer.

Work Details
The vendor will provide an online career exploration assessment that generates approximately 1,000 annual reports. The assessment must identify careers, strengths, stress behaviors, and motivational needs. It should be accessible online for users to complete at home or at VR offices. Users should be able to take the assessment in phases and save their progress. The vendor must offer technical support through various communication channels and ensure robust data collection capabilities. Monthly reporting on usage and performance metrics is required. Training materials for VR administrators and end-users must be provided within 30 days of contract award.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon execution and will expire on August 31, 2026. TWC has the option to renew the contract for two additional one-year terms.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed throughout the state of Texas.

Bidder Requirements
Respondents must comply with all applicable requirements of TWC and obtain prior written approval for any subcontracting arrangements. The successful respondent must also adhere to the Data Use Agreement attached as Attachment 4 of the solicitation.
