Cafeteria Serving Line Rework - Horace Mann Junior School

Work Requested:
Goose Creek Consolidated Independent School District (GCCISD) is seeking proposals for the rework of the cafeteria serving line at Horace Mann Junior School. The scope of work includes all tasks necessary to complete the serving line rework as described in the solicitation documents.

Requesting Entity:
This solicitation is issued by Goose Creek Consolidated Independent School District (GCCISD), which serves over 24,000 students in the Baytown and Highlands communities, covering approximately 134 square miles east of Houston, Texas.

Background:
The district comprises 32 campuses, including 6 high schools (3 traditional and 3 specialty), 6 junior schools, 16 elementary schools, 1 early learning academy, 1 alternative school, a dedicated Robotics Center, and a virtual school for grades 4 through 12.

Contract Requirements:

• All work must be performed as specified in the solicitation documents for the cafeteria serving line rework at Horace Mann Junior School.
• An optional pre-bid meeting and site visit will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 1:00pm. Interested parties should submit their intent to attend via the questions tab in the online bidding portal.

Submission Instructions:

• Online submission of proposals is recommended and preferred.
• If submitting a hard copy, responses must be sealed and addressed to the GCCISD Purchasing Department at 4544 Interstate 10 East, Baytown, TX 77521. Hard copy submissions must be received by the response deadline specified in the solicitation.
• Proposals will be opened virtually and online.
• Faxed or emailed responses will not be accepted.
• Late proposals will not be considered.
• No changes or requests for changes to the specifications will be recognized after sealed proposals are submitted.

Additional Information:

• GCCISD reserves the right to postpone, accept, or reject any or all proposals in its best interest, and to waive formalities and reasonable irregularities in bidding.
• All questions must be submitted through the district's online bidding portal using the "Questions" tab and must be submitted prior to the established deadline.
