Background
The Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) is seeking bids to establish a purchase order for the procurement of broom handles. - Delivery Location: TDCJ - Plant Manager, Ferguson Unit Mop and Broom Factory, 12120 Savage Dr., Midway, TX 75852.

2. **Tapered Broom Handles**:
- Quantity: 10,000 EA
- Specifications: Must be free of knots, splinters, pitch, and imperfections; rounded on one end; moisture content not to exceed 15%; dimensions 1 1/8" x 54"; manufacturer specified as Pelray (Item g- RHW. 15X54PINEAXL).
- Delivery Location: Same as above.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to last until all items are delivered and accepted by TDCJ. The bid opening is scheduled for March 20, 2025.

The delivery location for the broom handles is at the Ferguson Unit Mop and Broom Factory located at 12120 Savage Dr., Midway, TX 75852.
