Background
Humble Independent School District (Humble ISD) is seeking proposals for RFP 2024-104 Books and Publications. The goal of this contract is to establish a vendor list for the procurement of books and publications to support educational needs within the district. The contract will be effective from the award date through October 16, 2028, allowing for a rolling review and award process throughout its term.

Work Details
Vendors are required to submit proposals that include their catalog or brochure as part of their response. The contract period will commence upon award and continue until October 16, 2028. Vendors may submit proposals on a rolling basis until June 16, 2028, which is the last date to respond for consideration under this RFP.

The services will be performed within Humble ISD facilities located in Humble, Texas.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must comply with specific certifications including non-collusion, prohibition on contracts with companies boycotting Israel, and acknowledgment of various legislative provisions such as HB89 and SB252. Additionally, vendors must conduct criminal background checks on employees who will have contact with students as per SB9 requirements. Insurance coverage is mandatory for vendors operating on district premises.
