The City of Huntsville is soliciting proposals from experienced and qualified vendors to provide Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) supplies. The goal of this contract is to secure necessary supplies that keep operations running smoothly while achieving the most advantageous combination of cost, quality, and reliability.
Work Details
The scope of work includes providing MRO Supplies and Other Related Products such as air filters, adhesives, batteries, cleaning products, electrical supplies, fasteners, hand tools, hardware, HVAC products, lighting supplies, lubrication, machining tools, motors, minor equipment, plumbing supplies, pneumatics, power tools, safety products, sealants, welding supplies, and other related accessories.
Annual expenditures for these supplies are estimated at $100,000. Vendors must include all products available in their catalog or through special order in their response. Award will be based on percentage points or discount off the vendor's shelf price or catalog price.
Period of Performance
The contract term will commence upon award and continue through September 30, 2026. There are four one-year renewal options available from October 1 through September 30 for each subsequent year until September 30, 2030.
Place of Performance
The delivery location for the products will be the City of Huntsville Service Center located at 448 State Highway 75 North, Huntsville, Texas 77320.
Bidder Requirements
Vendors must have a permanent place of business and adequate personnel and equipment to perform the work properly. They must also have a suitable financial status to meet obligations related to the work and appropriate technical experience.
Vendors without a storefront in Huntsville must ship with Free on Board (FOB) destination terms. Additionally, vendors are required to provide insurance coverage including Commercial General Liability and Workers’ Compensation Insurance.
