As-needed, Gate Maintenance and Repair Services at Lufkin State Supported Living Center

Background
The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is an agency within the Texas Health and Human Services (HHS) system. The Procurement and Contracting Services (PCS) division of HHSC administers Invitations for Bids (IFBs) for HHS. HHSC PCS is seeking competitive bids to establish contracts for as-needed gate maintenance and repair services at Lufkin State Supported Living Center. These contracts will be available for use by both HHSC and the Department of State Health Services (DSHS).

Work Details
The contractor will provide as-needed gate maintenance and repair services at the Lufkin State Supported Living Center located at 6844 North US HWY 69, Pollok, Texas 75969. The services include but are not limited to:

- Responding to service calls within four hours during regular business hours (Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
- Performing emergency repairs as needed
- Ensuring that all personnel assigned to perform these services have a minimum of three years of relevant experience.

The contractor must furnish all labor, tools, transportation, equipment, materials, and supplies necessary for the performance of the services. Additionally, the contractor is responsible for supervision of its employees and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Period of Performance
The anticipated contract start date is upon award. The response deadline for bids is February 18, 2025, at 10:30 AM.
