Annual Landscaping Service

Background
The City of Conroe is soliciting bids for Annual Landscaping Services to maintain the landscape of various city properties.
The goal is to ensure a complete, timely, safe, and professional job throughout the contract duration.
This contract aligns with the City’s mission to provide well-maintained public spaces.

Work Details
The contractor will provide landscape maintenance services including:
1. Landscape Bed Maintenance - Keeping shrub, ground cover, and flowerbeds free of weeds, grasses, and trash.
2. Pruning and Trimming - Trimming shrubs, tree limbs, hedges, and grasses to maintain shape and prevent encroachment on walkways and structures.
3. Weed Control - Ensuring tree wells and landscape beds remain weed-free using approved methods.
4. Mulching - Installing natural shredded hardwood mulch in landscape beds at a minimum depth of 2 inches.
5. Litter/Debris Disposal - Removing all trash and debris prior to each service visit.

Additional optional services include seasonal color installation in selected areas up to three times a year (March, June, November).
The contractor must submit a proposed maintenance schedule that accommodates city events and weather conditions.

Period of Performance
The contract will begin on October 1, 2025, and will last for one year with the option to renew for four additional one-year terms.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations within the City of Conroe, Texas.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide proof of insurance coverage as specified in the solicitation documents.
They must also have a valid pesticide applicator's license if herbicides are used.
Bidders are required to submit references from previous clients for similar services.
