Annual Contract for Locksmith Services and Supplies

Background
Tarrant County is seeking bids for an Annual Contract for Locksmith Services and Supplies to support approximately seventy-four (74) buildings located in downtown and suburban areas. The goal of this contract is to provide reliable locksmith services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including all holidays, ensuring the security and accessibility of county facilities.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing installation, repair, adjustment, and maintenance of various types of locks and door hardware to factory standards. Specific services include:
- Installation, repair, and re-keying services for all items and brands listed on the ‘Line Items’ tab.
- Maintenance of door hardware including push-button locks, electric locks, tubular locks, file cabinet locks, safe combination mechanisms, padlocks, automotive re-keying, interchangeable core systems, mortise and rim cylinder lock devices, and key duplication services.
- The contractor must maintain sufficient truck-stock inventory of materials and parts to support all specified brands.
- A permanent or mobile facility must be accessible for simple repairs and key cuts.
- Emergency response times are critical; the contractor must respond to emergency calls within two (2) hours and non-emergency calls within forty-eight (48) hours.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract will commence from the date of award or notice to proceed as determined by the Tarrant County Purchasing Department through July 10, 2026. There is an option for renewal for two additional twelve-month periods at Tarrant County’s discretion.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various Tarrant County buildings located in both downtown Fort Worth and suburban areas.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must submit pricing for every line item as part of their bid. The award will be made on an 'All or None' basis. Contractors should have experience with contracts of similar scope and complexity. They must conduct business in a courteous manner with Tarrant County personnel. Additionally, contractors are required to have appropriate insurance coverage including Workers' Compensation/Employer’s Liability, Commercial General Liability, and Auto Liability.
