Background
Austin Community College (ACC) District is a public community college system serving the Austin, Texas metropolitan area and surrounding Central Texas communities. Founded in 1972, ACC is one of the largest community college systems in Texas, maintaining 11 campuses and serving about 70,000 students annually. The goal of this contract is to select a qualified vendor to provide solar photovoltaic (PV) systems maintenance and repair services under Request for Proposals (RFP) No. 936-26-272-00-S-AB-RFP.
Work Details
The selected vendor will be responsible for providing all necessary equipment and labor to service, maintain, repair, and install solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. Key tasks include:
1. Maintaining a preventative maintenance schedule for existing solar installations to maximize uptime.
2. Furnishing all materials, labor, tools, and equipment to comply with relevant codes.
3. Responding to non-emergency calls within two business days and emergency calls within one business day.
4. Conducting annual inspections of every system upon request.
5. Providing documentation of completion for maintenance or repairs.
6. Scheduling system cleaning as needed.
7. Training on newly installed systems or software as requested by ACC.

Bidders must demonstrate compliance with industry standards set by the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP). They are required to have appropriate certifications and licenses for their technicians.
