Access Improvements At Held-Moran Nature Sanctuary

Background
The Coastal Bend Bays & Estuaries Program, Inc. (CBBEP) is seeking proposals for access improvements at Held-Moran Nature Sanctuary in Nueces County, Texas. The project is funded by President Biden’s Bipartisan Infrastructure Law through Environmental Protection Agency Grant Number 02F24501-0.

Work Details
The project consists of permitting and construction of a concrete driveway and parking lot, removal of existing bollards and installation of new bollards, and cable repair, located at the Held-Moran Nature Sanctuary, 245 Mediterranean Dr., Corpus Christi, TX 78418. Approximately 45 bollards will be installed, treated for ground contact. Additionally, approximately 5 bollards will be removed and cable tied off, with the installation of one new 16’ removable cable section.
The concrete driveway and parking lot will support 4 parking spaces including at least one ADA compliant space. The bidder will also be responsible for relocating two existing permanent signs and installing a temporary sign provided by the Coastal Bend Bays & Estuaries Program during construction. The project also includes obtaining all applicable permits for the driveway, parking lot, and/or bollard installation.

Period of Performance
Proposals are to be received until March 29, 2024, with a pre-bid conference scheduled for March 5, 2024.
The work is to be completed within a specific timeframe as per the contract terms.

Place of Performance
The project will be performed at the Held-Moran Nature Sanctuary located at 245 Mediterranean Dr., Corpus Christi, TX 78418.
