Work Details
The contract involves construction services for the Academic Building designated for the School of Public Health and School of Health Professions. The selected construction manager will operate under a Construction Manager at Risk (CMR) model. Key requirements include adherence to the Owner's Design Guidelines and Constructability Guidelines for UT System Construction Projects. Additionally, various project specifications related to safety, quality control, storm water management, and project closeout procedures must be followed. The construction manager must ensure compliance with wage rate determinations and insurance requirements as specified in the solicitation.

Bidders must demonstrate familiarity with various prerequisites including General Information & Requirements for this RFQ, acceptance of the Owner's Agreement between Owner and Construction Manager-at-Risk, proof of non-delinquency in franchise tax payments, and compliance with Texas Family Code Section 231.006. Additionally, bidders are required to submit comprehensive responses to selection criteria related to safety management, qualifications of the CM-R team, past performance on similar projects, budget management capabilities, and knowledge of current construction methodologies.
