Background
The City of Denton is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) for the Denton Technologies Service department to procure a 911 Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) Recording System. This system will be responsible for recording and retaining all public safety communications, including 911 telephony, administrative phone lines, and Project 25 (P25) radio communications. The goal is to ensure reliability, evidentiary integrity, regulatory compliance, and long-term scalability in the recording of emergency communications.

Work Details
The contract will involve the implementation of a comprehensive PSAP Recording System that includes:
- Licensing for core system functionality (1 unit)
- Licensing for dedicated lines recording (Analog) (16 units)
- Licensing for concurrent recording lines (Cisco) (25 units)
- Licensing for dedicated Radio recording lines (Motorola P25) (52 units)
- Licensing for 911 lines recording (Vesta 911) (32 units)
- 24/7 maintenance and technical support
- Total cost for system setup including hardware
- Project Management services
- Implementation and configuration services
- Estimated cost for custom integration development
- Radio interface for PSAP Recording
- CAD Interface integration
- Data migration from legacy PSAP Recordings
- Training services

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to be performed over a five-year period, starting from the date of contract award.

Place of Performance
The work will primarily take place in Denton, Texas.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must demonstrate compliance with regulations such as CJIS and HIPAA. They are required to provide proof of insurance coverage that meets the specified requirements. Additionally, bidders should have experience with similar projects in municipal government sectors and provide references from past projects.
