6' Bronze Monument

Background
Tarleton State University, located in Stephenville, TX, is soliciting proposals to design, fabricate, and install a bronze figure monument that represents the University’s spirit organization, The Purple Poo.

The university aims to contract with a single vendor who has demonstrated competence and qualifications necessary for this project. Established in 1899, Tarleton is a comprehensive institution of higher education with over 15,000 students and offers various degree programs.

The mission of Tarleton is to inspire discovery and leadership through educational excellence.

Work Details
The selected vendor will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Design, fabricate, and install a bronze monument figure approximately 6 feet in height.
- Provide design mock-ups and 3-dimensional renderings.
- Procure materials needed for the sculpture's creation.
- Sculpt and cast the bronze figure.
- Ensure that the sculpture meets load capacity requirements for its base (the base will be constructed by others).
- Install the sculpture on the base once completed.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence approximately 30 days after award notification and will continue until project completion as determined by Tarleton State University.

The work will be performed at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas.
