Background
The City of Lubbock, TX is seeking competitive sealed proposals for the construction of a 2.0 million-gallon elevated storage tank as part of its water utility infrastructure improvements. This project aims to enhance the city's water storage capacity and ensure a reliable water supply for its residents.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for all labor and materials necessary to construct the 34th Street 2.0 MG Elevated Storage Tank. The work includes site preparation, tank construction, installation of associated piping and fittings, and any necessary site restoration.

The project must comply with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations regarding construction and safety standards. A performance bond is required if the contract price exceeds $100,000, and a payment bond is required if it exceeds $50,000.

Period of Performance
The construction is expected to be substantially completed within 335 consecutive calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed issued by the City of Lubbock.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a cashier's or certified check or proposal bond equal to 5% of the total proposal amount as a guarantee that they will enter into a contract within ten business days after being notified of award.
