32026-00036 Early Learning Intervention Training and Education

The work of this contract involves implementing statewide strategies as part of the Early Learning Intervention Training and Education (ELITE) initiative. The selected Grantee will be responsible for enhancing the capacity of Board staff and Child Care Program educators to better support children with disabilities, those exhibiting challenging behaviors, or both. The primary objectives are to ensure that children with disabilities have access to a supportive learning environment and to prevent suspension and expulsion in early learning settings. This solicitation is being issued by the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC). The background of this contract centers on the ELITE initiative, which aims to improve outcomes for children with disabilities and challenging behaviors by strengthening the skills and resources of early childhood educators and staff.
