26-012 (BS) Cold Storage Facility Services

Background
The San Antonio Independent School District (SAISD) is seeking proposals for Cold Storage Facility Services to support its operational needs. The goal of this contract is to identify qualified vendors and establish pricing for services that will be utilized on an 'as-needed' basis.

Work Details
The contractor will provide cold storage facility services as required by SAISD. This includes maintaining appropriate temperature controls, ensuring the safety and quality of stored items, and providing access to the facilities as needed. Specific requirements regarding the scope of services, including any necessary equipment or technology, will be detailed in the final contract documents.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective for one year from the date of approval by the Board of Trustees, with options to renew for up to four additional one-year periods, contingent upon mutual agreement between SAISD and the contractor.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at designated SAISD facilities located in San Antonio, Texas.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must comply with specific insurance requirements as outlined in item #60 of the General Terms and Conditions. All proposals must include completed mandatory forms as specified in the solicitation documents. Vendors are also required to adhere to federal regulations regarding debarment and suspension, as well as certifications related to lobbying and employment eligibility verification.
