Background
Williamson County, Texas, a political subdivision of the State of Texas, is seeking a contractor for the construction services related to the Expo AV Upgrade project. The goal of this contract is to enhance the audio-visual capabilities at the Williamson County Expo Center, ensuring that the facility meets modern standards for events and gatherings.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing complete construction services, which include but are not limited to: furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, and labor necessary to complete the project as per the plans and specifications attached as Exhibit 'A'.

The work includes electrical upgrades, installation of integrated audio-video systems and equipment, and compliance with all relevant building codes. The contractor must also coordinate with the Owner and other contractors on-site during construction. Specific tasks include:
- Reviewing shop drawings
- Preparing applications for payment based on completed work
- Managing subcontractor performance
- Conducting safety programs
- Maintaining records of all documents at the job site.

Period of Performance
The contractor shall commence work upon receiving instruction from the Owner and is expected to achieve substantial completion within a specified number of calendar days from commencement. Final completion must occur within a defined period following substantial completion.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the Williamson County Expo Center located in Williamson County, Texas.

Bidder Requirements
The contractor must provide proof of insurance coverage as specified in the agreement, including workers' compensation and general liability insurance. A performance bond equal to 100% of the contract price is required upon execution of the agreement. The contractor must also comply with prevailing wage laws as outlined in Texas Government Code Chapter 2258.
