25-009 ASU Vincent Building Restroom Renovation

Background
Angelo State University, a member of the Texas Tech University System, is seeking proposals for the renovation of restrooms in the Vincent Building. The project aims to enhance the facilities to meet modern standards and ensure compliance with ADA regulations. This renovation is part of ASU's commitment to maintaining its infrastructure and providing accessible services to all users.

Work Details
The project involves the interior remodel and renovation of two sets of existing restrooms located on the first and second floors of the Vincent Building. Key tasks include:

- Demolition and debris removal of existing restrooms, including plumbing fixtures, supply lines, DWV lines, and finishes.
- Removal and replacement of wall-mounted toilets with floor-mounted fixtures.
- Installation of new finishes for walls, flooring, ceilings, and millwork.
- Alterations for ADA compliance.
- Replacement of existing wall-mounted drinking fountains with bottle filler models adjacent to the second-floor restroom.

The work will be executed in two phases to ensure that at least one set of restrooms remains operational throughout the renovation process.

Period of Performance
The project is scheduled to commence on August 21, 2025, with an expected completion date of November 19, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Angelo State University, specifically in the Vincent Building located at 2333 Vanderventer Ave., San Angelo, Texas.

Bidder Requirements
Proposals must include a signed Attachment A (Proposal Form), a completed Proposal Questionnaire, a notarized letter from a certified Bonding Agent if required, a five percent (5%) Proposal/Bid Bond for proposals exceeding $25,000.00, and a HUB Subcontracting Plan. Bidders must also demonstrate their qualifications through previous experience with similar projects at colleges or universities.
