Background
The City of Longview is seeking competitive sealed bids from qualified vendors to provide commercial dumpster services for its facilities. The goal of this contract is to secure reliable and efficient waste management solutions, including the rental of containers and the collection and disposal of solid waste. The City emphasizes the importance of partnering with experienced vendors who have a proven track record in providing such services.

Work Details
The awarded contractor will be responsible for the following services: rental of commercial dumpster containers, collection, and disposal of solid waste. The contractor must have a minimum of three years of continuous experience in commercial front-load dumpster services. Bidders are required to provide references for similar services.

The contract will cover multiple groups, with the intent to award one contractor for all groups. Services include compliance with Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) regulations, routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment, quarterly inspections of containers, and 'on-call' service as needed. All collected waste must be disposed of at a TCEQ permitted facility, and any changes in disposal locations must be communicated to the City.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on June 26, 2025, and will initially be for one year, with options to extend for four additional one-year periods based on mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations within the City of Longview, Texas.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must demonstrate compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations. They are required to submit a list of at least three references for similar services provided in the last three years. Additionally, bidders must maintain Workman's Compensation Insurance and other specified insurance coverages throughout the contract duration.
