Work Details
The contractor will supply a 230 kW diesel generator operating at 480/277V, 3-phase, 60Hz. The generator must meet the following specifications:
- Standby Power Rating: 230 kW / 287.5 kVA
- Voltage: 480/277 VAC
- Phase: 3-Phase, 4-Wire
- Frequency: 60 Hz
- Speed: 1800 RPM
- Power Factor: 0.8
- Full Load Output: Approx. 346 Amps.
The engine must be a diesel, 4-cycle with a configuration of six cylinders from acceptable manufacturers such as Cummins QSL9-G2 or John Deere. The alternator should be brushless with permanent magnet excitation and voltage regulation of ±1%. The fuel consumption at full load should be between 16-18.3 gallons per hour.
The installation includes providing a concrete pad if needed, electrical connections, fuel system installation, integration with existing infrastructure, start-up and commissioning, and load bank testing if required. A warranty of at least one year is required.
Period of Performance
The work is expected to commence within ten calendar days after the issuance of a written 'Notice to Proceed' and must be completed within the allocated calendar days after receipt of materials.
