2027 Workforce Forum Conference (Repost)

Background
The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) is seeking proposals for Conference Services to host the 2027 Workforce Forum Conference. This conference aims to support the development and oversight of a statewide, market-driven system of employment and training services.

The event will take place in the Austin, TX area and is intended to gather stakeholders from various sectors to discuss workforce development.

Work Details
The Successful Respondent must provide comprehensive conference services, including:
- Meeting space for one (1) half day and one (1) full day, with setup on Sunday and Monday, and the conference running from Monday afternoon through Tuesday.
- A General Session room with a capacity for up to 600 people in crescent rounds, along with five breakout rooms each accommodating up to 120 people in theater style.
- Sleeping rooms at prevailing Government per diem rates for approximately 305 attendees across three days.
- Catering services including beverage service during breaks on specified days.
- Audio-visual services including equipment such as HD projectors, microphones, and technical staff for support during the event.
- Parking facilities must be available on-site or adjacent to the venue.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon execution and expire on May 18, 2027, covering the duration of the conference from May 16 to May 18, 2027.

Place of Performance
The conference will be held in the Austin, TX area.

Bidder Requirements
Respondents must comply with TWC's requirements regarding subcontractor approval and provide evidence of financial interest in any proposed subcontractors. Additionally, they must maintain insurance coverage as specified in Attachment 4 - Insurance Requirements.
