2026 TEKS Resource System State Conference

Background
The Education Service Center (ESC) Region 13 is seeking proposals for the 2026 State TEKS (Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills) Conference. This conference aims to provide professional development and updates on TEKS standards for approximately 1,500 educators and administrators. It is scheduled for the summer of 2026 and will include keynote presentations, breakout sessions, exhibitor showcases, and networking opportunities.

ESC Region 13's mission is to assist school districts and charter schools in improving student performance and providing quality educational products.

Work Details
The selected vendor will provide a venue capable of accommodating approximately 1,200-1,500 attendees with necessary services including:

1. Venue Coordination and Set-Up: Support for general and breakout sessions, exhibitor booths, dining areas, and registration.
2. Accessibility: Compliance with ADA standards.
3. Conference Schedule: A full production schedule including setup day, two full days of programming, and a half-day of programming.
4. Registration Areas: High-traffic registration/check-in area.
5. Breakout Rooms: Up to 25 concurrent rooms equipped with A/V support.
6. Event Technology: Provision of A/V equipment including projectors and microphones.
7. Catering Services: Options for dietary restrictions with a dining area for up to 1,500 attendees.
8. Security Services: On-site security personnel for event duration.
9. Internet Services: Capacity for up to 1500 devices with necessary technical support.

Period of Performance
The contract period will span from the setup day prior to the conference through the conclusion of the event in summer 2026, specifically covering two and a half days of programming.

Place of Performance
The venue must be located in Texas, preferably along the I-35 Corridor for accessibility.
