2026 Task Order Contract for Pavement Markings Package C

Background
The City of San Antonio, through its Public Works Department, is issuing a formal invitation for bids (IFB) for the 2026 Task Order Contract for Pavement Markings Package C. The goal of this contract is to provide pavement marking services as part of the city's infrastructure maintenance and improvement efforts.

Work Details
The contract involves providing pavement marking services, which may include but are not limited to the application of paint, thermoplastic materials, and other related products necessary for road markings.

The estimated construction cost for this contract is $4,000,000. This is a unit price contract where unit prices established will remain valid throughout the contract duration. The quantities shown in the bid are estimates for budgetary purposes only, and the City may order all, some, or none of the work as needed. Additionally, two project signs are required for this project.

Period of Performance
The work is to be substantially completed within 365 calendar days from the start date of the contract.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed within the geographic boundaries of San Antonio, Texas.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with the Small Business Economic Development Advocacy (SBEDA) Program requirements and submit a Subcontractor/Supplier Commitment Form.

Bidders must also register with the San Antonio E-Procurement System (SAePS) to determine SBEDA eligibility. Additional documentation required includes a Bid Bond, Local Preference Program Identification Form, VOSB Program Tracking Form, Heat Illness Prevention Acknowledgement Form, and TEC Form 1295 Certification Number & Date.
