2025 Water/Sewer Line Parts

Background
The City of Keller, Texas is soliciting sealed bids for the provision of 2025 Water/Sewer Line Parts. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the city has the necessary equipment and services to maintain its water and sewer infrastructure effectively. The successful contractor will be responsible for providing specific equipment and services as outlined in the bid specifications.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide various water/sewer line parts including but not limited to:
- DR-18 PVC Pipe (20' joints, blue)
- DR-26 PVC Pipe (20' joints, white, Pressure Class 160)
- SDR-35 PVC Pipe (14' joints, green)
- Resilient wedge gate valves compliant with AWWA C-509/C-515
- Plastic valve box inserts from Parson Environmental or approved equal
- D.I. fittings compliant with AWWA C-153
- Mega-lugs and MJ accessories with Teflon coated bolts & nuts
- Tapping saddles (Romac 101NS, Ford FC101 for 2" - 8"; Romac 202NS, Ford FC202 for 12" - 16")
- Repair clamps (Romac SS1, Ford FS1, Smith Blair 261 or approved equal)
- Fire hydrants (Mueller Super Centurion 250 or M & H 129 compliant with AWWA C-502)

All materials must conform to City of Keller Standard Details and NCTCOG Specifications. All brass must comply with EPA 'No Lead' regulations. Vendors must have a physical branch within a twenty-mile radius of Keller containing inventory listed in Attachment A.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective for one year from the date of award, with options for four additional one-year renewals at the City's discretion.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed within the city limits of Keller, Texas.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must submit a bid bond in the amount of $1,500. They must also provide verifiable references from at least three municipalities in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex where similar services have been provided over the last twelve months. Bidders are required to maintain adequate insurance coverage and provide certificates of insurance naming the City of Keller as additional insured.
