Background
The City of Azle is seeking to procure four (4) generators as part of its operational needs. The goal of this contract is to ensure the availability of reliable power generation equipment for various city functions. The procurement process is initiated through a sealed bid invitation, emphasizing the city's commitment to transparency and competitive pricing.

Work Details
The contractor will provide four (4) 85 KW generator sets that are trailer-mounted with a double wall fuel cell capable of running for 24 continuous hours on diesel. Specific requirements include:

1. Trailer axle weight must not exceed 80% of the manufacturer's maximum load.
2. Equipped with electric trailer brakes.
3. Must have a 2 5/16" receiver ball hitch.
4. A service center must be available in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
5. Enclosed generator set with level 2 soundproofing (63-78 decibels).
6. Capability to switch between Single Phase and Three Phase operation.
7. Voltage regulator must allow switching between 208, 240, and 480 volts at 60 hertz.
8. Adjustable amperage overload protection included.
9. One NEMA 4x ADR1034 – 100 AMP 3W4P P&S receptacle flush mounted on the rear of the generator set.
10. Supplier must provide 8 hours of on-site operational training.
11. Two hard copies and one electronic copy of equipment owner's manuals per generator set/trailer combination must be provided.
12. A 110 V block heater and battery trickle charger must be included.
13. Delivery to be made to 470 Denver Trail by May 30, 2024.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to conclude with the delivery of the generators by May 30, 2024.

Place of Performance
The generators are to be delivered to the City of Azle, specifically at the address: 470 Denver Trail, Azle, TX.
