Background
The City of Austin is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) for the selection of engineering services for the 2024 Large Scale Water and Wastewater Pipeline Engineering Services Rotation List.

This initiative aims to establish a new rotation list of firms to provide engineering services for large diameter pipeline projects, continuing with a total of 11 firms. The contract amount is being slightly increased due to rising costs associated with engineering work.

Work Details
The selected consultants will provide comprehensive engineering services related to water and wastewater pipeline projects. This includes but is not limited to: design, analysis, project management, and construction oversight.

The consultants must demonstrate experience in similar projects and comply with the City’s Minority-Owned and Women-Owned Business Enterprise Procurement Program requirements. Specific qualifications will be evaluated based on criteria outlined in the RFQ packet, including experience of project managers and professionals, comparable project experience, and compliance plans.

Period of Performance
The contract execution is anticipated for December 3rd, 2024, following a selection process that will conclude with City Council action on November 21st, 2024.

The exact duration of the performance period will be defined in the awarded contracts.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed within the jurisdiction of the City of Austin, Texas.
