136Aw Boundary Survey Carswell

Background
The Texas Military Department (TMD) is seeking a skilled and qualified Contractor to provide comprehensive boundary survey services for the 136th Airlift Wing, located at Carswell Air Force Base (AFB), Fort Worth, Texas. The goal of this contract is to execute all necessary tasks to produce a boundary survey certified and sealed by a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) registered in the State of Texas.

Work Details
The Contractor shall perform the following tasks:

1. Review and evaluate any current recorded deeds or plats, adjoining deeds or plats, and any right-of-way information.

2. Locate property corner markers, fences, and other items required to construct the boundary survey.

3. Set property monumentation that was not located during the original survey.

4. Prepare preliminary boundary survey in AutoCAD and PDF format for TMD Project Manager review.

5. Verify all existing conditions and dimensions.

6. Coordinate reviews as required by the Project Managers.

The Contractor must adhere to industry standards and best practices throughout the project, accurately document all relevant features, comply with OSHA regulations, and report any cultural resources discovered during work.

Period of Performance
The Contractor must complete delivery within 60 calendar days after receipt of contract award.

Place of Performance
Services will be provided at 136TH CES/TXANG (CARSWELL AIRFORCE BASE (AFB)) 100 Hensley Ave., Fort Worth, TX 76127.

Bidder Requirements
The Contractor must hold a valid license as a Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) licensed by the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors (TBPELS). They must have prior experience in conducting boundary surveys, preferably within military installations or similar government environments. Additionally, they should demonstrate proficiency in utilizing AutoCAD software for survey documentation, possess necessary equipment for locating property features, have a valid driver's license for access to military installations, and maintain a clear record regarding security concerns.
