The North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) operates the 121 Regional Disposal Facility in Melissa, Texas, where solid waste from area residents is transported for disposal. Work Details
The contractor will provide scheduled monthly preventative maintenance and same day service within four (4) hours of request for emergency repairs. The work will be performed at 3820 Sam Rayburn Highway, Melissa, Texas, during operational hours (Monday - Saturday, 8 am – 4:30 pm). Monthly services include:
1. Inspection of plumbing, water flow of spray nozzles, spinners, and sensors for wear or damage; checking spray patterns; measuring flow rates; confirming soap dispensing rates.
2. Inspection of motors, pumps, and compressors for leaks or unusual noises; verifying pressure and flow rates.
3. Cleaning and maintenance including nozzle cleaning and system flushing; lubrication of motors and compressors.
4. Reporting findings immediately after service including details on actions taken and parts replaced.
Period of Performance
The initial term of the agreement shall commence on the date of the last signatory and shall be for a period of one (1) year with automatic renewals for four (4) additional one-year periods unless terminated by NTMWD with written notice at least sixty (60) days prior to expiration.
Place of Performance
All work will be performed at the 121 Regional Disposal Facility located at 3820 Sam Rayburn Highway, Melissa, Texas.
