10-Ton Split Replacement at the San Angelo State Supported Living Center

Background
The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is an agency within the Texas Health and Human Services (HHS) system. The Procurement and Contracting Services (PCS) division of HHSC administers Invitations for Bids (IFBs) for HHS. HHSC PCS is seeking competitive bids to establish contract(s) for the replacement of a 10-ton split HVAC system at the San Angelo State Supported Living Center (SSLC) building 500 Canteen. Both HHS Agencies, HHSC and DSHS, will be entitled to use any contract awarded as a result of this IFB.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide the installation of a 10-ton split HVAC system at the San Angelo State Supported Living Center. The services include:

1. Install 10 Ton 460 v 3 phase condenser.
2. Install 125,000 Btu Horizontal 5-ton Gas Furnace.
3. Install 10 Coil Horizontal coil.
4. Install new circuit for condenser.
5. Install custom drain pan.
6. Demo of water boiler and rerun gas line.
7. Take down ceiling grid and replace at completion of project.

The Contractor must furnish all labor, tools, transportation, equipment, materials, and supplies required to complete the services, ensure supervision, clean up and disposal, and possess all applicable licenses, permits, and insurance coverage.

Period of Performance
The anticipated contract start date is upon award with services to be performed Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., excluding state holidays.

Place of Performance
San Angelo State Supported Living Center, located at 11640 US Highway 87 North, Carlsbad, Texas 76934.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have a minimum of three years relevant experience in performing similar services and ensure that personnel assigned to perform the services have three years relevant experience as well as appropriate certification or licensing through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR). Bidders must provide a minimum of three verifiable references for current or previous contracts of similar size within the last three years.
