06260 RFB Addison Airport Tunnel Fire Alarm

Background
The North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) is issuing a contract for the replacement of the fire alarm system at the Addison Airport Toll Tunnel. The project aims to enhance safety and compliance with current standards by installing a new addressable fire alarm system, smoke detectors, heat/sensor detectors, manual pull stations, horn/strobe units, and associated wiring and conduit.

The NTTA's mission is to provide safe and efficient toll road services in the region.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Replacement of the Addressable Fire Alarm System as indicated on the drawings.
2. Replacement of Smoke Detectors as shown on the drawings.
3. Replacement of Heat Sensors/Detectors as shown on the drawings.
4. Removal and replacement of Manual Pull Stations and Horn/Strobe units as indicated in the drawings.
5. Replacement of all Wiring and conduit systems as specified on the drawings.
6. Installation of a new Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) as shown on the drawings.

Period of Performance
The project is expected to be completed by February 28, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Addison Airport Toll Tunnel, located at 4140 Keller Springs Road, Addison, TX 75001.
