06249 RFB Total Routine Maintenance of PGBT (West) & MCLB

Background
The North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) is issuing a Request for Bids (RFB) for Total Routine Maintenance (TRM) services for the President George Bush Turnpike (West) and Mountain Creek Lake Bridge.
The goal of this contract is to ensure the maintenance and operational efficiency of these critical transportation infrastructures, which are vital for regional mobility and safety.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
- Routine maintenance such as sweeping and litter/debris removal;
- Preventive maintenance including joint and crack sealing;
- Minor repairs to pavement and bridges;
- Traffic operations involving signs and pavement markings;
- Building/facility maintenance including janitorial services;
- Incident management such as hazmat clean-up;
- Snow and ice control.
The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary materials, labor, machinery, tools, supplies, equipment, transportation, and other facilities required to complete the work as specified in the contract documents.

Period of Performance
The contract term is six (6) years from the date of the Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed along the President George Bush Turnpike (West) from East IH-20 (Grand Prairie) to Dickerson Parkway, including segments 4, 5, 7, & 8.
It also includes Mountain Creek Lake Bridge from S.E. 14th Street to Mountain Creek Parkway.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must demonstrate financial capability to perform at least 30% of the contracted value with their own organization.
They must provide a letter from their bonding surety indicating their ability to bond for the original contract amount.
Additionally, bidders are required to have a minimum of ten years of experience in total routine maintenance contracts and snow and ice control.
Key personnel must include a Project Manager with at least ten years of relevant experience and Segment Supervisors with a minimum of five years of experience.
