06158 RFB PBGT HMAC Shoulder Rehabilitation

Background
The North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) is issuing a Request for Bids (RFB) for the PGBT HMAC Shoulder Rehabilitation project. This initiative aims to enhance the infrastructure of the President George Bush Turnpike by improving safety and functionality along specified segments through rehabilitation of the highway shoulders. It aligns with NTTA's mission to provide safe and efficient transportation solutions in North Texas.

Work Details
The contract involves construction services for:
1. HMAC Mill & Overlay on the PGBT mainlane outside shoulders.
2. Fog seal application on both inside and outside ramp shoulders.
3. Replacement of MBGF (Metal Beam Guard Fence) from Midway Road to Alma Drive.
4. Additional fog seal and joint sealing on the PGBT mainlane outside HMAC shoulders and inside/outside ramp shoulders from Plano Road to Brand Road.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of 7 months, starting from the date of Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance
The work will be conducted along the President George Bush Turnpike, specifically from 0.12 miles east of Midway Road to 0.03 miles west of E Brand Road, covering segments 1 & 2.
