Description

Giles County Board of Education is inviting sealed bids from qualified vendors to provide, deliver, and support Opengate (or equivalent) weapons detection systems for use across district schools.

For specifications, interested parties should reach out to Mary Taylor Hewitt at 931-363-5486 or via email at mthewitt@gilescountytn.gov.

All bid proposals must be submitted to the Office of Financial Management in the Giles County Courthouse Annex by 2:00 pm on Wednesday, January 7, 2026. At that time, the bids will be publicly opened in the basement boardroom of the Giles County Annex. Any bids received after this deadline will not be opened. Vendors are required to submit two (2) copies of their bid proposals.

Proposals can be sent by mail to P.O. Box 678, Pulaski, TN 38478 or delivered in person to 222 W Madison St, 2nd Floor, Pulaski, TN 38478. The outside envelope must clearly state: Sealed Bid Proposal - Giles County Board of Education Metal Detectors.

Giles County reserves the right to reject any and all bids. All vendors must adhere to the State of Tennessee and Giles County procurement laws.
