Warriors Path State Park Pool Demolition

Background
The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation is issuing this solicitation for the demolition of a swimming pool at Warriors Path State Park. The goal of the contract is to safely and efficiently remove the existing pool structure and associated facilities, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all materials, equipment, supplies, and labor necessary for the complete demolition of the swimming pool and associated structures. Specific tasks include:

1. Demolition of the pool structure and filtration room while protecting adjacent buildings.
2. Removal of debris from state property to an approved landfill.
3. Pumping water into a retention pond for sedimentation filtering.
4. Cutting and removing the pool liner in sections.
5. Removal of stainless steel skimmers and other metals from the site.
6. Breaking up concrete floors and walls in the deep end of the pool and compacting replacement fill dirt at specified intervals.
7. Providing fill material as needed to achieve final grade with topsoil over the work site.
8. Demolition of surrounding concrete pads, retaining walls, and any associated structures while ensuring proper disposal off-site.

Period of Performance
The work is expected to commence upon receipt of a signed contract or purchase order and must be completed by June 1, 2025.
