Background
The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County (Metro) is seeking proposals for a Translation Management Software (TMS) solution to enhance the efficiency and quality of translations across various projects and clients.
The Metro Public Health Department aims to procure a comprehensive TMS that includes features such as terminology management, translation memory capabilities, and automated quality assurance tools.
This initiative aligns with Metro's mission to provide effective public health services through improved communication.

Work Details
The selected TMS must include:
- An integrated terminology management module for creating and maintaining domain-specific glossaries.
- Robust translation memory capabilities to reuse past translations, ensuring consistency and reducing costs.
- Automated quality assurance tools to identify errors like formatting mismatches and missing translations.
- Linguistic Quality Assurance tools for error categorization and detailed reporting.

Period of Performance
The contract term will commence on the effective date of the contract approval and will last for 60 months, with options for extension at the discretion of the Purchasing Agent.

The services will be performed in Nashville, TN, specifically at locations designated by the Metro Public Health Department.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a Certificate of Insurance within seven days of receiving an intent to award letter. Required insurances include:
- General Liability Insurance ($1 million)
- Professional Liability Insurance ($1 million)
- Automobile Liability Insurance ($1 million)
- Worker's Compensation Insurance as per state laws
- Cyber Liability Insurance ($4 million)
- Technological Errors and Omissions Liability Insurance ($1 million).
Additionally, bidders must comply with all applicable laws regarding employment practices.
