Tiftonia Pump Station #2 Improvements

Background
The City of Chattanooga, Tennessee, is issuing a solicitation for the Tiftonia Pump Station #2 Improvements project. The goal of this contract is to enhance the sewage pumping infrastructure to ensure efficient and reliable wastewater management in the area.

Work Details
The project involves the demolition of an existing sewage pumping station, electrical equipment, fencing, and other site appurtenances.

The construction of a new submersible pumping station will include:
- Three new pumps
- A valve vault
- A flowmeter
- A bypass pump connection
- Electrical control and power cabinets with shelter
- Concrete pads
- 47 linear feet of 24-inch gravity sewer main
- Two 6-foot diameter manholes
- Bypass pumping
- Site grading
- Drainage work
- Stone and asphalt paving

Additional necessary appurtenances will be included for a complete and functional installation.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to be completed within 240 calendar days from the notice to proceed.

The work will be performed in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
