Background
The Madison County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) is seeking Requests for Qualifications (RFQs) from qualified Architecture and Engineering (A&E) firms to design a metal-type kitchen facility. This initiative aims to enhance the operational capabilities of the MCSO by providing a modern kitchen facility that meets current standards and requirements.

Work Details
The selected A&E firm will be responsible for the following tasks:

1. Conducting a needs assessment to determine the specifications for the kitchen facility.
2. Developing architectural designs that comply with local building codes and regulations.
3. Providing engineering services, including structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing designs.
4. Preparing construction documents and specifications for bidding purposes.
5. Assisting in the selection of contractors and overseeing the construction process to ensure adherence to design specifications.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to last approximately 12 months, encompassing all phases from design through completion of construction.

Place of Performance
The project will be located at the Madison County Sheriff's Office facilities in Jackson, Tennessee.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must demonstrate previous experience in designing similar facilities, possess appropriate licenses and certifications as required by state law, and have a proven track record of completing projects on time and within budget.
