Roof Replacement Avondale Head Start

Background
The City of Chattanooga, Tennessee, is issuing a contract for the replacement of the roof at the Avondale Head Start facility. The project aims to enhance the safety and functionality of the building by installing a new standing seam metal roof system and addressing hazardous materials present in the existing structure. Work Details
The scope of work includes approximately 13,000 square feet of new standing seam metal roofing and associated accessories. Key tasks include:

1. Removal and abatement of an existing metal roof, including hazardous material abatement for asbestos-containing materials (ACM) and lead stabilization on window dormers.

2. Installation of a Pac-Clad Snap-Clad 24-gauge vertical-rib, snap-joint panel roofing system.

3. Installation of roof accessories such as curbs and gravity ventilators, ensuring they are leakproof and securely installed.

4. Compliance with all safety regulations during construction, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
