RFQ - Football Team Charters

Background
Tennessee Tech University, through its Department of Athletics, is seeking bids from qualified charter companies to provide charter services for its football team and related personnel. The goal of this contract is to ensure safe and reliable transportation for the team during their travel to various games throughout the season.

Work Details
The contractor will provide charter bus services as follows:

1. Trip 1: Tennessee State University – Nashville, TN
- 3 fifty-six (56) passenger buses and drivers needed each way.
- Depart: September 26th from Cookeville, TN (afternoon)
- Return: September 27th to Cookeville, TN after the game.

2. Trip 2: Charleston Southern University – Charleston, SC
- 4 fifty-six (56) passenger buses and drivers needed each way.
- Depart: October 10th from Cookeville, TN (morning)
- Return: October 11th to Cookeville, TN after the game.

3. Trip 3: Lindenwood University – St. Charles, MO
- 3 fifty-six (56) passenger buses and drivers needed each way.
- Depart: October 17th from Cookeville, TN (morning)
- Return: October 18th to Cookeville, TN after the game.

4. Trip 4: Eastern Illinois University – Charleston, IL
- 3 fifty-six (56) passenger buses and drivers needed each way.
- Depart: November 7th from Cookeville, TN (morning)
- Return: November 8th to Cookeville, TN after the game.

5. Trip 5: University of Kentucky – Lexington, KY
- 3 fifty-six (56) passenger buses and drivers needed each way.
- Depart: November 14th from Cookeville, TN (afternoon)
- Return: November 15th to Cookeville, TN after the game.

6. Trip 6: Playoffs on November 28-29th (Location TBD)
- 4 fifty-six (56) passenger buses and drivers needed each way.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed during the football season with specific trips scheduled between September and November of the year.

Place of Performance
Transportation services will primarily take place between Cookeville, TN and various locations including Nashville, Charleston SC, St. Charles MO, Charleston IL, Lexington KY and a TBD location for playoffs.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide proof of FMCSR Carrier Safety Rating as satisfactory; a valid certificate of insurance with minimum limits of $5 million for Automobile Liability and $2 million for General Liability; certification that neither they nor their principals are debarred or suspended; compliance with NCAA regulations; adherence to all ICC and DOT regulations; and must not subcontract without prior approval from Tennessee Tech.
