Background
Hamilton County Schools (HCS) is seeking to contract with a qualified and experienced Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) to administer their pharmacy plans. The goal of this RFP is to consolidate pharmacy benefit management services under one provider, ensuring that the selected vendor meets the general requirements outlined in the solicitation. HCS aims to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of its pharmacy benefits for its members.

Work Details
The selected PBM will be responsible for providing the following services:

- Claims Administration Services
- Customer Service
- Utilization Review
- Clinical oversight of the full pharmacy plan
- Eligibility Management
- Claims and Membership Reporting
- Integration of Onsite Pharmacy
- An Account Management Team to support HCS.

Proposals must detail how each requirement will be met, including any exceptions or alternatives if certain requirements cannot be fulfilled. Vendors are required to provide comprehensive descriptions of their proposed solutions and demonstrate their experience in managing similar projects.

Period of Performance
The contract period is expected to begin on January 1, 2026, and will last for one year with the option to renew for up to five additional one-year periods, totaling a maximum potential duration of six years.

The services will be performed for Hamilton County Schools located at 3074 Claude Ramsey Parkway, Chattanooga, Tennessee 37421.
