Background
The Region 14 Education Service Center (ESC) is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to establish a contract for Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) only Information Technology, Cybersecurity, and Data Protection Solutions.
The goal is to provide a comprehensive competitively solicited contract that offers products and services to public agencies while achieving cost savings and reducing administrative overhead.
Region 14 ESC serves over 50,000 students across 42 school districts in West Texas and aims to leverage its purchasing power through cooperative agreements with OMNIA Partners, Public Sector, Inc.
Work Details
The selected OEMs will provide a range of products and services categorized as follows:
1. **Security & Risk Management Solutions**: Security Threat Intelligence Platforms, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Network Forensics, Firewalls, Cloud Security Solutions, etc.
2. **Data Protection & Privacy Solutions**: Data Protection Platforms, Backup and Disaster Recovery Services, Encryption Services, etc.
3. **Networking & Data Communications**: Networking Hardware including Switching and Routing equipment, Wireless Networks, Unified Communications Infrastructure, etc.
4. **OEM Professional & Support Services**: Technical Support and Maintenance, Implementation Services, Consulting Services.
All products must be new and free of defects unless otherwise approved by Region 14 ESC.
Period of Performance
The contract term is for three (3) years with the possibility of renewal for up to two (2) additional one-year terms.
Place of Performance
The services will be performed primarily within the jurisdictions served by Region 14 ESC and other participating public agencies across the United States.
Bidder Requirements
Offerors must be the OEM of all proposed solutions. Distributors or resellers cannot respond as prime Offerors.
OEMs must identify authorized resellers in their proposals and ensure compliance with all contractual obligations including product authenticity and security assurances.
