Print Management Software Companies

Background
The State of Tennessee, Department of General Services, is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to gather insights on potential solutions for Print Management Software Companies.

The goal is to streamline the workflow of Document Solutions, which has managed over 6,000 projects in 2024. Document Solutions serves primarily Tennessee State Government agencies and aims to enhance operational efficiency through software that supports high-volume production across various machines and equipment. The agency currently utilizes a Management Information System (MIS) for commercial printing and scanning.

Work Details
The RFI seeks information on software solutions that can provide functionalities such as a customer portal, storefront, tracking, and reporting capabilities.

The system will be used for estimating, order entry, scheduling, data collection, shipping, billing, and inventory management. Document Solutions operates two offset presses nearing end-of-life without plans for replacement in the next year, along with two digital black-and-white printers and two color printers. Their bindery operations include standard equipment like cutters, folders, slitter, perfect binder, saddle-stitcher, shrink wrap machines, and various table-top equipment. Additionally, they offer hand assembly services and outsource printing and bindery tasks.

Period of Performance
The RFI was issued on December 26, 2024. Responses to the RFI are due by January 25th, 2025.

Place of Performance
The contract work will primarily take place within the State of Tennessee.
