Police Department Mowing Services

Background
The Gallatin Police Department, part of the City of Gallatin, Tennessee, is seeking bids for grass mowing and landscape services. The goal of this contract is to maintain the aesthetic and functional quality of the police department's properties through regular landscaping services.

Work Details
The awarded contractor will provide the following services: weekly grass mowing during the mowing season (March to November), mulching at least twice a year at GPD Headquarters, Police Annex, and Police Gun Range, pruning of all landscapes, maintaining shrub beds free of weeds throughout the growing season, defining shrub bed edges, overseeding and aerating GPD Headquarters and Police Annex annually in the fall.

Specific locations include:
- GPD Headquarters at 130 West Main Street, Gallatin TN 37066
- Police Annex at 411 South Water, Gallatin TN 37066
- Police Gun Range at 192 Commerce Way Gallatin, TN 37066.

Additional tasks include weed trimming weekly, blowing off sidewalks of mowing debris after each visit, and ensuring all work is performed in a good and workmanlike manner by skilled workers.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is set for a duration of one year with the possibility of three one-year extensions. Services will be billed monthly over a twelve-month period.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at three locations within Gallatin, Tennessee: GPD Headquarters, Police Annex, and Police Gun Range.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must complete an attached price sheet and maintain insurance requirements. A site visit with Capt. Scottie King is required to bid on this project. All vendors are encouraged to visit each site but it is not mandatory. The contractor must not engage in a Boycott of Israel as defined in Tennessee law.
