Background
The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County (Metro) is seeking proposals for Patient Transportation Services. The goal of this contract is to provide non-emergency medical transportation for clients and patients, ensuring they can access medical, pharmacy, dental, and behavioral health services. This service is essential for individuals with or without medical needs, facilitating their appointments across various healthcare facilities.

Work Details
The contractor will provide non-emergency medical transportation services to clients and/or patients within 1-3 hours of notification during operational hours from 5 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday, with optional Saturday service.

The counties covered include Davidson, Cannon, Cheatham, Dickson, Hickman, Macon, Robertson, Rutherford, Smith, Sumner, Trousdale, Williamson, and Wilson. The vendor must accommodate families with up to 7 individuals and patients requiring medical assistance such as oxygen or wheelchair transport.

All drivers must have valid DOT background checks and maintain compliance with DOT health standards. The contractor must also provide monthly reports detailing rides provided including vehicle type used, trip details, and unique patient identifiers.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and will be indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ), meaning that purchases will be made on an as-needed basis without guaranteed minimum or maximum amounts.
