Odor and Corrosion products, equipment and services
Background
The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County (Metro) is seeking proposals for odor and corrosion control services for its wastewater collection system. The goal of this contract is to manage and maintain odor control equipment, ensuring compliance with environmental standards while preventing infrastructure corrosion. This solicitation follows the competitive sealed proposals process as determined by the Purchasing Agent under the Metropolitan Code of Laws.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all activities associated with odor and corrosion control services, which include managing and maintaining all odor control equipment, providing necessary chemicals, materials, personnel, transportation, and equipment. Specific tasks include:

- Liquid Phase Treatment (LPOC): Installation and maintenance of chemical storage and feed systems, chemical pacing methods, supply and delivery of chemicals.

- Vapor Phase Treatment (VPOC): Installation of carbon adsorbers, biofilters, wet chemical scrubbers; operation and maintenance including inspections and monitoring.

- Technical Support Services: Monthly performance reporting, emergency response, specialized tools for testing, and health and safety plans for chemical handling.

- Initial sulfide monitoring surveys at new sites as directed by Metro Water Services.

Period of Performance
The contract is anticipated to last for a period of five years from the effective start date.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations within Metro's wastewater collection system in Nashville, TN.
