Manhole Rehabilitation

Background
The City of Chattanooga, Tennessee, is issuing a contract for the rehabilitation of existing manholes as part of its wastewater management efforts. The goal of this contract is to ensure the structural integrity and functionality of manholes throughout the city, which have been identified as needing rehabilitation. This project is crucial for maintaining the city's wastewater infrastructure and is expected to be funded with local funds, subject to annual budget approvals.

Work Details
The scope of work includes furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the reconstruction of existing manholes, manhole benches, and inverts using approved non-disruptive rehabilitation methods. The specific tasks include:

1) Reconstruction of existing manholes;
2) Rehabilitation of manhole benches and inverts;
3) Work will be performed within existing structures that have generally maintained their original shape.

Locations for rehabilitation will be determined by the Engineering Manager or designee, with authorization for each sub-project released at the discretion of the City. The contractor must comply with all specifications outlined in the contract documents.
